Secondline lost. Secondline blames coaching.

Scott Junior pointed the finger at his coaches in analyzing the Secondline loss. 'We have to step up, all of us' he said, and continued: 'But they, the coaches, have to get us ready and have the right gameplan. Well, we were not ready and we had the wrong gameplan'. The Secondline FS said he felt they were outcoached in their latest game. 'We seem to always come up short in the critical situations. I feel like the players are giving their all, but that our coaches just are not holding up their end of the bargain. Especially Defensive Coordinator Timothy Tyler has been a dissapointment, he is just not rising to the moment.', he said.

Game of the Week: Berlin Fire Salamanders at Baltimore Hawks

Our Expert Predictions:

Jeremy Piper : Berlin Fire Salamanders
When you think of the players that will be on the field, I think a good bet is that Klaus von Reinherz (C) - T will dominate the defense. This is going to be great to watch. This will be watercooler talk on monday. Do not miss it.

Mary Moore : Baltimore Hawks
Head coach Tony Daniel does a great job getting them prepared every week. This week will be no different. Offensively he is a great and innovative thinker. He is one of the best defensive minds.

Jim Nox : Baltimore Hawks
They will win again this week.

Darren Francis : Berlin Fire Salamanders
They get their win and this game will be just another day at the office.

Infighting plagues the Sailfish.

Rumours out of Sarasota indicate that the pressure is brewing in the Sailfish locker room. Sniping and bickering between certain player has been excalating for some time. Game of the Week: Austin Copperheads at Orange County Otters

Our Expert Predictions:

Jeremy Piper : Orange County Otters
If they lose this one, I will never hear the end of it.

Mary Moore : Austin Copperheads
They are on a win streak. They will continue that streak. They will win this game.

Jim Nox : Austin Copperheads
I have a lot of respect for head coach Robert Hodges. He is doing great things in Austin. He is running a great offense. He is doing some clever things with his defense. The way he and his coaches prepare is beautiful. The way they win this game will tell a lot about what they are as a team.

Darren Francis : Austin Copperheads
Looking at how the teams match up, I think a good bet is that Jay Cue III - QB always has an impact. The defense will have to gameplan for him if they want to stand even the slightest chance.

Sewage Joe Fantringham taunts the Secondline after Outlaws victory.

Sewage Joe Fantringham did not hold back when asked about the Outlaws after their game. The Outlaws DT made no efforts to hide his lack of respect for the Secondline. 'I think this game proves where our team is, and that the Secondline just are not at our level', he said.

Jeremy Piper : Osaka Kaiju
This is just what my gut tells me.

Jim Nox : Osaka Kaiju
When you consider the two rosters, a good bet is that LeHarm James - LB will ruin your day on offense. Easy prediction.

Game of the Week: Cape Town Crash at Chicago Butchers

Our Expert Predictions:

Jeremy Piper : Cape Town Crash
Looking at the two rosters, it is likely that there is one thing you have to mention. There is this DT named Jason Steele. I expect everyone will be watching him, and he will shine. A single digit win.

Mary Moore : Cape Town Crash
This should be some good football.

Jim Nox : Chicago Butchers
The Butchers win. I see no reason to think otherwise.

Darren Francis : Chicago Butchers
They are furious with their losing streak. They will be fired up and I would not want to face them right now.

QB I I (COL) goes #1 overall!

NEW YORK -- The Colorado Yeti drafted I I #1 overall in the 2064 draft. The 6' 2" QB fits the team's needs perfectly. Said Yeti general manager: "It's up to us to develop him and get good players around him."

"The great thing about the game of football is, it's a team game," I said on a conference call. "I'm just going to be one piece of the puzzle."

Moore and Nox Mock Draft

Pick 1: Colorado Yeti
Larry Moore: Eli Gross - DT
Wraps up tackles well. They should not be afraid to fill a need here. He will start day one. Quality pick right here.

Jim Nox: Eli Gross - DT
Well trained tackler. Fits nicely with their needs. Fits nicely with the draft spot. Getting it right is important with these early picks. This guy is right.

Pick 2: New York Silverbacks
Larry Moore: Richard Neill - TE
This kid has wide receiver like speed. That makes him a factor in the passing game. Good instincts. They need him now. Well yesterday actually. They will love him tomorrow. They will revere him by the end of his career.

Jim Nox: Richard Neill - TE
Speedy Tight Ends really puts pressure on a defense. I bet this is why coaches love this guy. Educated well. Shows good understanding of the game. They will be happy to get him, they could use an upgrade at the position, and he certainly fits the bill. A franchise caliber player. Just what they have been looking for.

Pick 3: Austin Copperheads
Larry Moore: Matthew Dowling - CB
His leadership is through the roof. He is on the frontline, always. This kid breeds synergy, teams play better when he is on the field. Sufficient speed to stay on his man. Not elite, but suffient. They need playmakers at this position. This is what they are getting here. Solid pick.

Jim Nox: Matthew Dowling - CB
Intangibles, leadership, what's not to love? I want this kid on my team. He understands his role on the field, and how it fits in with what everyone else is doing. Rarely lets receivers get separation. Has nice speed. will be fun to watch. He can do what they want. He will deliver results early. He fits a need. End of story.

Pick 4: Berlin Fire Salamanders
Larry Moore: John Wasson - TE
With the speed he has, you can really do a lot of things in terms of different offensive schemes. Reacts with good instincts. A player that fits their needs. The promise of a future star. This will be great for the franchise.

Jim Nox: Salvador Woodward - LB
Strong enough to come of the edge in the pros. Rarely do we call defensive linemen sideline to sideline defenders, but this kid is so fast the term almost applies. Some might say this is a 'need' pick, but we must remember, this is a really good player as well. He will contribute early and often. No losers here.

Pick 5: Honolulu Hahalua
Larry Moore: Jeffrey White - C
The kind of leadership he shows makes coaches salivate. His college coaches talk highly of his work ethic. Known among his teammates as a bit of a goofball, but never in a bad way. The kind that keeps spirits high even when a season goes south. Do not underestimate the strength this kid brings to the table. Has nice technique when blocking on run plays. Keeps his leverage and finishes his blocks. You need him, just get him already.

Jim Nox: Jeffrey White - C
Coaches love the leadership skills in this kid. Known among his teammates as a hard worker. Known for helping out teammates, if they hit a rough patch, whether it is on the field or in their personal lives. He has sufficient strength to have a chance against grown men on the defensive line. Execution in the running game is something coaches have noticed about him. He blocks pretty well. Take the blue-chip player. Do not worry about sexier picks. He fits what you need and the quality is there.

Pick 6: Sarasota Sailfish
Larry Moore: Stanton Ngo - G
Teammates look to him for leadership, and he consistently delivers. Knows what it takes to achieve success at any level. This kid is already a pretty good blocker in the running game. He will only get better as he refines his technique. They need players at the position, and good ones at that. He fits the bill, he is worth the pick. End of story.

Jim Nox: John Wasson - TE
Gets off the line with great speed. He was one of the smarter kids in college. They gotta be happy to get this guy. Such a talent and he fits their needs. I would imagine the war room is celebrating when they make this pick.

Pick 7: Orange County Otters
Larry Moore: Jesse Goodwin - C
His college coaches talk highly of his work ethic. His good natured behavior, even toward opponents have earned him some criticism, but also an awful lot of respect. Nice blocking skills on run plays. He will contribute to the running game. They need him now. Well yesterday actually. They will love him tomorrow. They will revere him by the end of his career.

Jim Nox: Jesse Goodwin - C
Here you have a kid who puts in the work to succeed. His good natured behavior, even toward opponents have earned him some criticism, but also an awful lot of respect. Has nice technique when blocking on run plays. Keeps his leverage and finishes his blocks. You need him, just get him already.

Pick 8: Yellowknife Wraiths
Larry Moore: Salvador Woodward - LB
Sufficiently strong that bull rushing opponents is not off the table. Gives him more options on the field. A kid who is faster than most linebackers. Really a hybrid kind of guy. Coming of the edge with that speed will give blockers fits. Nothing to think about here. Pick up the kid, bring him into the building, put him om the field.

Jim Nox: Stanton Ngo - G
Not afraid to lead. Here you have a kid who puts in the work to succeed. Has nice technique when blocking on run plays. Keeps his leverage and finishes his blocks. They will be running to the podium for this one.

Pick 9: San Jose SaberCats
Larry Moore: Nickolas Knox - SS
Good understanding of the game, and what is required of each position. He addresses a need for them.

Jim Nox: Nickolas Knox - SS
Reacts quickly and puts himself in a position to make a play. They need playmakers at this position. This is what they are getting here. Solid pick.

Pick 10: Chicago Butchers
Larry Moore: John Hopkins - SS
Here is a kid who no one doubts will put in the work. He is driven by the love of the sport. The guy has gets along with everyone. Some of the assignments you will get at the position requires speed. This guy has it. You cannot coach speed. That is why guys like him are valued highly. He fills a need for them. They will be happy to get him.

Jim Nox: James Pruitt - SS
Smart player. Good understanding of how plays develop, and where to be. With this kid, this is a need pick they will not regret.
