I really think their offense will make the difference. They are 5th in the league pass completion percentage. They are 4th in the league average yards per rush. They are 1st in the league rushing touchdowns with 7. They are 5th in the league rushing yards per game. They average 147.8! They are 4th in the league points scored per game. They average 28.8! There will be a lot to dissect after this game.

Jim Nox : San Jose SaberCats
And you can take that with you to the bank.

Darren Francis : San Jose SaberCats
Looking at the teams, I agree with the popular opinion that Mooty Poop-Eater (C) - CB has to potential to carry the SaberCats defense.

Week 4: CB Roquefort Cotswold (C) (HON) wins Defensive Player of the Week

CB Cotswold (C)'s ball hawking ability was on display in the Hahalua 40-10 game with the Osaka Kaiju. He finished with 8 Tck, 4 Int, 1 Def TD.

"Roquefort has the unique ability to make plays and generate turnovers." -Hahalua Defensive Coordinator

Week 4: RB Animal Blundetto (YKW) wins Offensive Player of the Week

Week 4's Offensive Player of the Week is Running Back Animal Blundetto. His 22 att, 116 yds, 2 TD, 1 rec, 2 yds, 1 TD performance stood out in the 33 to 21 victory for the Yellowknife Wraiths.

The former LSU gridiron star is racking up the rushing yards and now has 315 Yards and 3 Touchdowns for the season.

Dewey Greenbeans blasts the Kaiju in aftermath of Kaiju loss.

Dewey Greenbeans was not happy in an interview after the Kaiju lost to the Kaiju. 'I think we were the best team on the field. You know, the Kaiju can point to the result all they want, but they did not deserve to win this.

Game of the Week: Cape Town Crash at Yellowknife Wraiths

Our Expert Predictions:

Jeremy Piper : Yellowknife Wraiths
I just really like the way they coach in Yellowknife. Head coach Adam Singleton is doing great things. He is a great offensive mind. He is innovative with his defense. And you can take that with you to the bank.

Mary Moore : Cape Town Crash
This is a dominant offense. They are 2nd in the league passing touchdowns with 8. They are 3rd in the league passing yards per game. They average 281.3! They are 3rd in the league points scored per game. They average 30! They might even blow them out.

Jim Nox : Cape Town Crash
Looking at the teams, it seems obvious that the Crash' offense goes through Hercules Henry - RB. When he is at his best, the Crash offense is like a well oiled machine. They might even win with three touchdowns.

Darren Francis : Yellowknife Wraiths
Last game was a fluke. They will win again this week.

Crane unhappy after Kaiju close loss.

War of words the between the Kaiju and the Kaiju after game. 'I think we were the best team on the field. You know, the Kaiju can point to the result all they want, but they did not deserve to win this.

Game of the Week: New Orleans Secondline at Cape Town Crash

Our Expert Predictions:

Jeremy Piper : Cape Town Crash
When you consider the two rosters, I see that the offense will struggle to counter Luigi Numberone - CB. Watch out for him.

Mary Moore : Cape Town Crash
This defense is likely to step up this week. I am looking forward to watching this showdown.

Jim Nox : Cape Town Crash
A double digit win.

Darren Francis : Cape Town Crash
This is just going by my intuition.

Winnicki optimistic despite Outlaws loss.

Grzegorz Winnicki pointed no fingers and saw the upside to the Outlaws loss. 'Surely, we lost, but we were playing well. I think this is a testament to our character and preparation' said Winnicki. He added: 'The Secondline are a good team, but I we played our hearts out and kept grinding. We learned a lot from this game, and it will help us in the future'.

Game of the Week: Colorado Yeti at Yellowknife Wraiths

Our Expert Predictions:

Jeremy Piper : Colorado Yeti
Do not believe it if anyone tells you the Yeti are overhyped. They are who we thought they were.

Mary Moore : Colorado Yeti
They are well coached. I am sure head coach Jeffrey Diaz has them prepared for this game. He makes great offensive adjustments. Defensively he makes great adjustments. This will either be wildly entertaining or a dull grind. I see no middle between the two.

Jim Nox : Yellowknife Wraiths
Really this could go either way, but you will never get me to admit it.

Darren Francis : Colorado Yeti
For this game, my gut tells me that you have to look at this SS named Mary Marie. I expect everyone knows this guy will be a wrecking ball.

Silverbacks lost. Silverbacks blames coaching.

Reginald Hammerfall was angry about the game against Johnnie Hsu. Moreover, he denied that the players were at fault. Reginald Hammerfall - RB was clearly upset in the Silverbacks loss. 'We learned a lot. We learned a lot about our coaches. We realized that there is a reason we are losing. I am not sure what Johnnie Hsu saw in his preparation, but he has to do a better job at Head Coach', the RB said.

Week 1: RB Kit Fisto (SJS) wins Offensive Player of the Week

Game of the Week: Yellowknife Wraiths at Baltimore Hawks

Our Expert Predictions:

Jeremy Piper : Yellowknife Wraiths
For this match up, I think a good bet is that Mo Gago is going to have a field day. He is among the better DT's in the league. He will have a great day and be critical in this game.

Mary Moore : Yellowknife Wraiths
Surely, the Wraiths win. Do not let anyone tell you otherwise.

Jim Nox : Baltimore Hawks
This may be a pivotal game for their season.

Darren Francis : Baltimore Hawks
I really think their defense will make the difference. This is going to be a very viewer friendly game.

'I am better than Hahalua' Leo Simon Schwartz', says Oops All-Pro

DT Oops All-Pro had words of praise for himself in a recent interview. 'I am one of the best DTs in the game', he said. Oops All-Pro brings up Leo Simon Schwartz every chance he gets, it seems. 'Is he faster than me? nah. Look at the tape, once the pads come on he slows down. Sure, he is good and he may even be as good as me some day.' The Copperheads DT said. Certainly such words will set the internet forums on fire, and it will be interesting to see if Leo Simon Schwartz takes the bait and responds.

QB I I (COL) goes #1 overall!

NEW YORK -- The Colorado Yeti drafted I I #1 overall in the 2065 draft. The 6' 2" QB fits the team's needs perfectly. Said Yeti general manager: "It's up to us to develop him and get good players around him."

"The great thing about the game of football is, it's a team game," I said on a conference call. "I'm just going to be one piece of the puzzle."

Moore and Nox Mock Draft

Pick 1: Colorado Yeti
Larry Moore: Dillon Cowell - QB
Should be able to take in a pro playbook. Coaches do not have to worry about making him throw any route. His arm is good, but not great... yet! He can do what they want. He will deliver results early. He fits a need. End of story.

Jim Nox: Charlie Kearney - T
Strong enough to play with the pros. In the run game he blocks well, shows tenacity and opens lanes. This will benefit the team. Fast learner. Fill a need, get a quality player, everyone wins! He will fit right in with the pros.

Pick 2: Orange County Otters
Larry Moore: Benjamin Peacock - DT
He is driven by the love of the sport. Will flatten smaller offensive linemen and go toe to toe with bigger ones. Is sufficiently fast to stay on the field against the pass. That is important if you are going to draft a guy this early. Fans might not be on board with what can be framed as a need pick. But trust me once they see this kid play, they will be more than happy.

Jim Nox: Benjamin Peacock - DT
He is driven by the love of the sport. His strength gives him a chance against the big boys in the pros. Is sufficiently fast to stay on the field against the pass. That is important if you are going to draft a guy this early. He fills a need for them. Great pick here.

Pick 3: Berlin Fire Salamanders
Larry Moore: Victor Knoll - G
Coaches love the leadership skills in this kid. This kid breeds synergy, teams play better when he is on the field. Driving up his value is his ability to block on run plays. Teams need kids who can hold their own against fully grown men. Displays nice technique when blocking on pass plays. Keeps his balance and buys time for the quarterback. They almost have to make this pick. You do not want to look back in five years and see this kid on another team knowing he could have been yours.

Jim Nox: Victor Knoll - G
A leader on the field and in the locker room. Football is a team sport, and he knows it. Driving up his value is his ability to block on run plays. Teams need kids who can hold their own against fully grown men. He has shown in college he can hold his own in pass blocking. He keeps good leverage and will only get better once the coaches get their hands on him. People always say you should not prioritize needs over quality. That is not an issue here, they get to have their cake and eat it too.

Pick 4: Honolulu Hahalua
Larry Moore: John Nance - G
This kid is not afraid to work hard. Respected for his good behavior on the field. Well liked in the locker room. Was among the stronger offensive linemen in college. Pass blocking against professional players makes for a difficult transition from college. But the tape indicates he will do well in that regard. Nice instincts. They gotta be happy to get this guy. Such a talent and he fits their needs. I would imagine the war room is celebrating when they make this pick.

Jim Nox: Wesley McCauley - LB
Respected for his good behavior on the field. Amazing speed for the position. Defensive coordinators dream about having this speed coming of the edge. Smart player. Good understanding of how plays develop, and where to be. He can do what they want. He will deliver results early. He fits a need. End of story.

Pick 5: New York Silverbacks
Larry Moore: Wesley McCauley - LB
Sportsmanship, love of the sport and respect, is what you get with him. So fast. You could drop him into coverage if you wanted. If you miss your block on this guy, he will be in the face of the QB before he has even finished dropping back. Fast learner. Rock solid player is just what they need. A great fit here, both in terms of need and quality.

Jim Nox: Silas Martinez - DE
The guy has his head on straight. Sportsmanship, love of the sport and respect, is what you get with him. Known for being a bit of a joker in the locker room. but in the good way, everyone smiles when asked about him. It is not often that the talent available fits perfectly with what you need. When it does, it makes for a win-win situation. This young man is going to be put in a position to succeed.

Pick 6: Cape Town Crash
Larry Moore: Michael Lashley - C
Here you have a kid who puts in the work to succeed. Sportsmanship, love of the sport and respect, is what you get with him. This is a young man who will bench press a Defensive Tackle, and not a small one! He comes of the line with power and leverage on run plays. This is something that scouts notice. Smart player. Good understanding of how plays develop, and where to be. Fits nicely with their needs. Fits nicely with the draft spot. Getting it right is important with these early picks. This guy is right.

Jim Nox: Michael Lashley - C
This kid puts in the work. He is driven by the love of the sport. With this guy on the team, they will have to buy extra weights. He is just that strong. Nice blocking skills on run plays. He will contribute to the running game. He is a smart kid, and it shows when he plays. Do not be afraid to draft a position of need here. This kid is well worthy of a pick this early. Perfect situation for him, and great fit for the team.

Pick 7: Austin Copperheads
Larry Moore: Andre Beauchamp - CB
Incredible speed. Drives up his value. you can never have enough speed in your defensive backfield. They will be happy to get him, they could use an upgrade at the position, and he certainly fits the bill. A franchise caliber player. Just what they have been looking for.

Jim Nox: Andre Beauchamp - CB
That speed will make for incredible highlights. They need players at the position, and good ones at that. He fits the bill, he is worth the pick. End of story.

Pick 8: Osaka Kaiju
Larry Moore: Sam Enos - C
Reacts with good instincts. Rock solid player is just what they need. A great fit here, both in terms of need and quality.

Jim Nox: Sam Enos - C
Understands the game well. Knows what to do in different situations. Are there other guys worth picking here? Sure, but none of them fit this well with what they need, and he is a solid talent.

Pick 9: Sarasota Sailfish
Larry Moore: Charles Dejesus - DT
Known among his teammates as a bit of a goofball, but never in a bad way. The kind that keeps spirits high even when a season goes south. While not the strongest kid we have seen, his strength is an asset. It gives him the platform to be a great player. Good jump off the line. Enough speed to be unpredictable in his passrushing moves. Rock solid player is just what they need. A great fit here, both in terms of need and quality.

Jim Nox: Charles Dejesus - DT
Known among his teammates as a bit of a goofball, but never in a bad way. The kind that keeps spirits high even when a season goes south. Can maintain his leverage and shed blocks. Not incredibly strong, but enough power that he rarely ends up on his back. Coaches are not worried about his forty time. He plays fast and will chase down the QB reliably when he get penetration. The stars align for them to get him here. Just what they need. Blue-chip player with great upside. Hard to botch this pick.

Pick 10: San Jose SaberCats
Larry Moore: Douglas Allen - SS
Works well in the classroom. You need him, just get him already.

Jim Nox: Richard Dodson - DE
Has developed nice strength for being this early in his career. Reliable tackler. His college teammates all point to how smart he is. With this kid, this is a need pick they will not regret.
