NEW YORK -- The Orange County Otters' QB was a landslide winner Friday in balloting by a nationwide panel of 50 sports writers and broadcasters who cover the league. Boss won the MVP award by amassing season totals of 392/646, 5545 yds, 41 TD.

"I really accept this award on behalf of the team and the organization because there is no way I would have accomplished this much without everyone creating a winning environment," Boss said after receiving the award.

NEW YORK -- The Orange County Otters' QB took home the 2020 Playoff MVP award today. Boss won the award by amassing playoff totals of 64/101, 668 yds, 4 TD.

LB Angus Winchester (OCO) wins Defensive Player of the Year!

NEW YORK -- In his own view, Angus Winchester put together his best professional season in 2020. How appropriate, then, that he is The Associated Press 2020 Defensive Player of the Year.

The versatile Winchester had 102 tackles, 17 sacks, 0 interceptions, and 2 forced fumbles with 0 defensive touchdowns, and was a key to the Otters' turnaround on defense. His role on the defense earned Winchester a majority of votes Tuesday from a nationwide panel of 50 sports writers and broadcasters who cover the league.

Orange County Otters quarterback Mike Boss is Sporting News' Offensive Player of the Year, as selected by a panel of 636 players, coaches and executives.

Boss received 299 first-place votes from the 583 players polled.

Boss in 2020 had 5545 yards and 41 TDs, with only 17 interceptions for a QB Rating of 98.6.
