NEW YORK -- The San Jose SaberCats' QB was a landslide winner Friday in balloting by a nationwide panel of 50 sports writers and broadcasters who cover the league. Christ won the MVP award by amassing season totals of 275/464, 3438 yds, 27 TD.

"I really accept this award on behalf of the team and the organization because there is no way I would have accomplished this much without everyone creating a winning environment," Christ said after receiving the award.
